Erik & Caitlin
Lifetime Hoosier
Erik is passionate about giving back and is determined to represent the 8th district in Congress in 2024.
As a native of Evansville, Indiana, he was born in 1991 into a hardworking family. His great-grandparents came to the US from Poland after World War II to pursue the American dream, giving him a strong sense of justice. Witnessing his family's relentless efforts to provide a better life, only to have their work consistently undervalued, inspired Erik to engage in politics from a young age. He pursued a degree in political science at the University of Evansville and later pursued a degree in history from Indiana University.
An ardent supporter of the arts, Erik first connected with his wife during a production of MASH at Evansville’s Civic Theater. Erik and his wife, Caitlin, lived in Orlando from 2017 to 2020 before deciding to return to their hometown of Evansville. Since returning, Erik has been managing a local movie theatre. He has successfully written and directed numerous feature films in his free time. Erik is also a passionate baseball enthusiast who enjoys archery, video games, board games, and D&D while spending quality time with his wife and three cats.
Determined to serve the people
Erik has been traveling throughout the 8th district, talking to Hoosiers to learn what is important to them. There is no hidden agenda except the desire to represent the people's best interests. Public service, by definition, should be elected officials serving and advocating. From rural to urban areas, all Indiana residents deserve to be heard.
